How is this different from a regular Bluetooth speaker?

Do I need a TV or my phone?
No. Everything runs on the built-in Android touchscreen over Wi-Fi. Want it bigger? Connect it to your TV with the HD output.
Is it good for kids?
Yes. Kids can tap songs on the touchscreen themselves, and volume is one big knob on the front.
Does it need Wi-Fi?
To stream songs from YouTube and karaoke apps, yes. Without Wi-Fi you can still play music and videos from a USB stick or TF card, or stream from your phone over Bluetooth.
